Three Local Journalists Injured As Roadside Mine Blast

Qalat City (BNA) Three local journalists belonging Rana News Agency were wounded following roadside mine blast in Shahr-e-Safa region, southern Zabul province late yesterday.
The incident took place, while the journalists wanted to cover an Afghan forces operation, which their vehicle hit with a roadside mine.
The health conditions of the wounded journalists are satisfactory now.
Ghulam Jilani Farahi security director of the province told BNA reporter, three Rana News Agency journalists were injured in the incident.
No group or individual has taken the responsibility of the event so far, but local officials of Zabul claimed that Taliban militants are responsible for the blast.
During the last three months it was the third time that reporters targeted in Zabul province.
Meanwhile, sometime ago Yaqub Sharafat National Television journalist was gunned down by unknown gunmen in the province.
Following the incident ministry of information and culture in a statement reported that journalists and reporters are unaligned people and asked from war parties to prevent harassments for them.
