Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) during the past 24 hours launched mopping-up operations in different parts of the country.
The operations have conducted in various parts of Khogyani-Nangarhar, Nari and Shaigal-Kunar, Aab Band-Ghazni, Karkh-Herat, Dand Ghori-Baghlan, Lashkargah-Helmand and Tashkan district of Badakhshan province, in which 36 militants were killed, 26 wounded and 7 others arrested.
Some ammunitions, weapons, military mobilization and dozens round of different type of mines have been discovered and neutralized following the operations.
Also six Afghan security forces troops were martyred during the operations as well, source added.
