Sar-e-Pul (BNA) Ten Taliban rebels were killed and 15 others have been hurt in clearing operation of security troops in Sar-e-Pul province yesterday.
Colonel Abdul Qayoom police chief of Sar-e-Pul told BNA, joint Afghan security forces conducting clearing operation in Loden villages of Panjshir and Konjak district of that province, killed ten armed rebels and wounded 15 others, several villages have been cleared from insurgents.
According to the source, security and stability in the villages has returned to normal, and people are working with the security forces to strengthen their defenses.
