Kabul (BNA) At least 101 Taliban militants were killed in several clearing operations carried out by Afghan forces in different parts of the country yesterday.
Ministry of Interior press office told BNA, Afghan security forces conducted several clearing operations in relevant areas of Kunduz, Helmand, Nangarhar, Jaouzjan, and Urozgan provinces, in which 101 rebels were killed, 20 wounded and 2 others along with some heavy and light weapons arrested.
It is mentionable that several local commanders of Taliban were also among the dead and armed oppositions sustained most casualties in Hasarak district of Nangarhar province.
