Kabul (BNA) As many as 69 anti-government militias were killed and 49 others were injured following clearing operations conducted by Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANSDF) within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office by sending a statement reported BNA, the operations have been conducted by support of Afghan Air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and ensure security and stability in restive areas of Laghman, Ghazni, Logar, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Faryab, Baghlan, Takhar, Nimroz and Helmand provinces.
Also during the operations 6 ISIS fighters including Qari Amin a local commander of the terrorist group were killed in Deh Bala, Chaparhar and Naziyan districts of Nangarhar province and Darzab district of Jawzjan province, the source added.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, military equipment and 3 motorcycles belong to the terrorist groups have been seized during the military operations, the source underlined.
