Kabul (BNA) At least 94 insurgents were killed and 76 others injured in mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Army (ANA) across the country the other day.
Ministry of Defense press office issued BNA, the operations were carried out in the provinces of Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Daikundi, Farah, Herat, Kunduz, Baghlan, Sar-e-Pul, Takhar, Faryab and Helmand, in which 94 militants were killed, 72 injured, 4 arrested, some weapons and ammunitions seized and 30 rounds of various type of mines discovered and confiscated by ANA forces during the operations.
Also 12 Afghan National Army personnel were martyred during their routine duties following throwing of heavy weapons by militants and road side mines explosions in different parts of the country.
