Kabul (BNA) A military operation has started by Afghan National Army (ANA) troops aiming to suppress and annihilate Taliban militants in central Parwan province this morning.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the military operation begins in villages of Qala-e-Nasro, Qala-e-Gul, Qala-e-Musa, Qala-e-Khwaja, Qala-e-Wazir, Dawlat Shahi, Pashan, Qalandarkhail and Qala-e-Baland of Bagram district, Parwan province.
The operation started that recently a suicide attack took place in Bagram airport, which several people were killed and wounded.
Bagram airport is a huge military base of international troops in Afghanistan.
According to another report, a joint military operation under the code name of “Shaheen 24” conducted to ensure peace and stability and annihilate armed opposition in Jalalabad-Torkham highway the other day.
