Lashkarga (BNA) The military officials of Helmand prevented from 2 explosions in a mosque in that province.
According to reports, armed Taliban with planting of 2 bombs in a mosque in Abdullah Jan area wanted to target prayers.
Officials of Maiwand army crops said to BNA, the security personnel with cooperation of residents of the area discovered and neutralized the bombs.
It is said that one of the bombs was placed near a mosque where several volumes of Holly Quran and other religious books keep and the second bomb was placed near the gate of this mosque.
Local officials called armed Taliban responsible of planting bombs and said that assessment has been started for arresting the culprits of this case.
