Kabul (BNA) The national and defense forces in the last 24 hours conducting joint and offensive operations in various parts of the country killed 20 armed oppositions and wounded 22 others.
National defense ministry press office told BNA the operations with support of air forces were launched in Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, Ghazni, Logar, Zabul, Herat, Samangan, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand province.
According to another report, the defense ministry reported from starting of another operations launched by security forces in Kunar and Laghman provinces.
The operations were conducted aimed to annihilate insurgents and destroying of Taliban hideouts in the provinces.
