Massoud Visits Badam Bagh

Kabul (BNA) Ahmad Zia Massoud, Special Envoy to President on Reforms and Good Governance accompanied by acting minister of urban development, acting mayor of Kabul city, and officials of geodesy and cartography paid a visit to Badam Bagh area yesterday, BNA reported.
During the visit, Massoud asked security organs to check grabbing lands and stop building illegal houses by individuals in Badam Bagh area where a number of individuals have grabbed and built houses illegally. The special envoy to president said that a delegation from ministry of urban development in coordination with Kabul municipality, ministry of agriculture, geodesy and cartography should work together and prepare Badam Bagh map and take practical steps for construction of a public park for entertainment of Kabul residents.
Massoud asserted that establishment of Public Park had vital value to the people and could decrease environmental pollution in the city.
According to another report, the special envoy to president attended the inauguration ceremony of work for reconstruction of Kart-e-Aryana road to Kabul University where in a number of parliamentarians, residents of the area and officials of Kabul municipality attended it.
