Friday, May 20, 2016 Kabul (BNA) 24 armed insurgents were killed in clearing operations conducted by ANA forces in Kandahar and Zabul provinces. According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the ANA forces conducted joint cleansing operations in outskirts of Maiwand district; Kandahar province and Shinki district of Zabul province in which 24 insurgents were killed and 50 others were injured. Likewise, 10 different rounds of mines were also discovered and defused by ANA forces in the operation.
