Kabul (BNA) In a series of operations launched during the past 24 hours 16 armed insurgents killed.
Interior Ministry Press Office said BNA, Afghan security forces launching several clearing operations in relevant areas of Baghlan, Kandahar, Urozgan, Maidan -Wardak and Logar provinces killed 16 armed insurgents and arrested six others along with heavy and light weapons.
The operations have been carried out aimed to clean the region from the existence of armed rebels.
Also national police forces discovered and defused 13 planted mines from relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kunduz, Urozgan, Ghazni, Farah and Helmand provinces.
