Kabul (BNA) Local officials in northern Kunduz province rejected rumor about collapse of Qala-e-Zaal district to Taliban militants.
In a statement sent by provincial office of Kunduz to BNA, last night Taliban militants carried out attack on Qala-e-Zaal district, which faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces.
It is mentionable that a local police checkpoint captured by Taliban militants, but the district completely is under the control of Afghan security, the statement added.
According to another report, a mine had been discovered and confiscated by police personnel in 2nd precinct of Kunduz city.
