Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces succeeded to discover and defuse 16 round of different type of mines from southern Zabul, Kandahar, Urozgan and Helmand provinces.
The mines have been planted by enemies of the country in crowded areas of the mentioned provinces to target innocent civilians and Afghan security troops.
Senior security official in south of the country told BNA reporter, the mines timely have been discovered and naturalized by Afghan security forces, but no one was arrested accused of the mine plantings so far.
Mostly, Taliban militants by plantings bombs and mines target innocent civilians in the areas; where they have presence and activities.
