Five Armed Taliban Killed, Three Wounded

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) ّive armed Taliban were killed and three others wounded in an operation conducted by Afghan forces in Baghlan province yesterday.
Jaweed Basharat police spokesman of Baghlan stated BNA, the operation conducted by Afghan forces in Baghlan province, killed five armed Taliban including a commander of them and injured three others.
According to Basharat, in the operation, several villages of the province have been cleared from presence of armed insurgents.
According to another report two armed rebels were killed in a clash by police forces in Paktika province.
Mokhlis Afghan spokesman of Paktika governor said BNA, the clash occurred in Janikhaili district, Paktika province while a group of Taliban attacked on police security posts in the site.
The source added, two armed Taliban were killed and some weapons including 2 Kalashnikovs, 2 anti-vehicle mines were seized by police forces.
