Muttaqi Considers His Trip to Iran Productive

 

KABUL (BNA): Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister, provided information about his recent trip to Iran with Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, and described it as a productive endeavor.

Muttaqi referred to Iran as a friendly country to Afghanistan and suggested the expansion of political, economic, and trade links between the two countries. Muttaqi also met with diplomats and Afghan citizens who live in the Iranian cities of Tehran and Mashhad.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the Islamic Emirate appreciates positive ties with all regional countries, including Iran, and desires to improve and develop these relations in the future.
