KABUL (BNA) Monsoon rains caused Flash Flood, which left huge financial losses, on Thursday in Panjshir province.
The Provincial Natural Disaster Management Department in Panjshir says the flash floods were caused by rain since late on Thursday in the villages of Qalandoor and Astana Kalan in the province.
Ahmad Zia Yazdani, the head of natural disasters Managment department in Panjshir, told BNA that the flash floods, destroyed farmlands irrigation canals, small electrical devices, mills, side roads, bridges and culverts in recent two days monsoon rains.
No reports of human casualties or destruction of residential houses so far, he added.
