Kabul (BNA) Ministry of National Defense’s officials claimed that up to 100 armed rebels including 28 ISIS fighters were killed during joint clearing operations in different parts of the country.
Press office of the ministry reported BNA, the operations were conducted aimed to eliminate terrorists and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Parwan, Khost, Ghazni, Logar, Paktia, Zabul, Urozgan, Farah, Herat, Kunduz, Faryab, Baghlan, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces.
61 armed oppositions were wounded and 6 others were arrested during the operations as well, the source added.
It is mentionable that some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war mobilizations have been discovered and seized.
