Farah (BNA) More than 2400 jiribs of lands were cleaned from poppy bushes in Farah province.
Lal Mohammad Azizi head of anti-narcotic department of Farah province said to BNA, from beginning of the current year till now, 2460 jiribs of poppy farms have been cleaned from poppy bushes in Farah province.
Among 2460 jiribs of lands, 1880 jiribs of that were cleaned from poppy bushes in Balabalok district and 570 jiribs of lands were cleaned in the vicinities of Farah city.
It is said that this program continuing in this province until completely elimination of poppy farms in all districts of that province.
