Kabul (BNA) Nearly 19 armed oppositions were killed and 26 others wounded following military operations launched by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours in 10 provinces of the country.
According to information of National Defense Ministry press office to
BNA, the oppositions were conducted to suppress anti-government militias and ensure security and stability in relevant areas of Kapisa, Logar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Paktia, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
According to another report, officials from Ministry of National Defense reported starting a clearing operation in Batikot district of Nangarhar province.
The operation was conducted to clean-up all parts of Batikot district from being of armed rebels.
