COVID-19 in Afghanistan: Positive Cases Rise to 15,205, Deaths +255

Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of Public Health reported 680 new positive cases of COVID-19 from 1,112 samples tested within the last 24 hours in 13 provinces of the country.
The ministry also reported eight COVID-19 deaths and 25 recovered patients in the country in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, 371 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Kabul in the last 24 hours.
The positive cases were reported in Kabul (371), Herat (111), Balkh (75), Takhar (22), Samangan (22), Nangarhar (21), Laghman (18), Baghlan (11), Logar (7), Kunar (6), Bamiyan (2), Maidan/Wardak (2), Daykundi (1)/
COVID-19 deaths were reported in Baghlan (3), Herat (2), Kunar (2), Balkh (1).
The total number of deaths reached 257, while the recovered cases are at 1328.
The total active cases are 13,620, according to the ministry, while the total of confirmed cases is 15,205.
