Kabul (BNA) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel of Helmand province launched clearing operation with support of strong forces on strongholds of insurgents in Helmand province, in which 19 armed terrorist were killed and two strongholds of them were demolished.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons and military equipment have been destroyed.
According to another report, eighteen armed Taliban were killed in Ghazni province last night.
Ahmad Khan Seerat spokesman for Ghazni security commandment told BNA, the insurgents were killed in air raids and artillery attacks of security forces in several districts of Ghazni province.
Three commandeers of Taliban were also among the dead.
As a result of artillery attacks of security forces on Taliban strongholds in Ander district, seven insurgents were also injured, Said Seerat.
