Kabul (BNA) Amid growing insecurities in a number of provinces, the Afghan security forces could act more successful and have attained eye-catching achievements over the last years.
Lauding the Afghan security forces particularly the Special Forces’ capabilities, officials of the ministry for defense said currently, the government armed oppositions have considerably weakened and lost ability to fight ANSF.
The spokesperson to the ministry of defense, Brig. Gen. Dawlat Waziri said operations conducted over the last years have caused to noticeably weaken the enemy, as since the Special Forces are responsible for special operations, we have witnessed more successes in ensuring security and suppressing of the insurgents.
He added since beginning of this year, the Afghan security forces have launched new military tactics resulted in prevention of their casualties in one hand and inflicting heavy fatalities to armed militants on the other.
At the same time, calling operations being conducted by Afghan Special Forces effective in suppressing insurgents, lawmakers and political experts said that in consider with Afghan security forces capabilities, they would be able to have more successes on the battlefields.
A lawmaker, Hashimi said the Special Forces could have constructive role in conducting special operations, a move would also result in further weakening of the enemy.
He added fortunately over the last years, the Special Forces could act more successful during operations and have obtained considerable achievements so far.
Thus, conducting special operations in a number of turbulent provinces can be really effective in such a situation, he went on to say.
A senator, Gul Ahmad Azimi said the Taliban would never reach their vicious goals in Afghanistan, adding the Taliban have conducted offensive attacks in a number of provinces, but fortunately, they failed and faced heavy blows by the Afghan security forces.
A political expert, Jamal Farahmand stressed that the Afghan security forces in cooperation with NATO forces could keep the Taliban far from the big cities of the country and are making effort to better ensure security.
Amir Mohammad, a military expert said conducting special operations was in fact the enemies’ defeat, because, the Afghan Special Forces could prove the can play effective role in foiling enemies’ attacks and ensuring security in the country.
A university student, Ali Rasa said, “One of the Afghan security forces successes is that they have taken the security responsibility since a while and could act successfully in many operations up to now.” This is while that the Afghan security forces have now the control of all the country and could obtain successes during operations.
