Islamic Emirate Seeks Cordial Relations with European Countries, Welcomes Investments

 

KABUL (BNA) In a recent meeting between Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and Italian officials, a message of goodwill and cooperation was conveyed.

Hanafi expressed the Islamic Emirate’s desire for good and cordial relations based on interaction and mutual respect with European countries and nations worldwide.

The meeting took place with the Italian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ms. Natalia Quintavalle, and Italy’s Special Envoy to Afghanistan, Mr. Gainfranco.

During the discussion, Ambassador Quintavalle expressed her satisfaction with the establishment of security in Afghanistan and acknowledged the achievements witnessed during her visit to the country.

She emphasized Italy’s ongoing commitment to assisting Afghanistan and conveyed Italy’s eagerness to implement development projects in areas such as health, water, public health, and bilateral relations.

In response, Deputy Prime Minister Hanafi conveyed his appreciation for Italy’s cooperation with the people of Afghanistan.

He reiterated the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to fostering positive relations based on interaction and mutual respect with European countries and other nations worldwide.

Hanafi also highlighted some of the Islamic Emirate’s achievements, including ensuring national security, combating drug production and trafficking, and addressing administrative corruption.
