Kabul (BNA) 565 kilograms different types of narcotic drugs discovered and 26 people have been arrested on the charges of the drugs in Nangarhar province during the past two weeks.
Colonel Hazrat Hussian Mashriqiwal press in-charge of Nangarhar security command told BNA reporter, National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel of Nangarhar province in various cases discovered 281 kilograms drugs and arrested 6 suspected people on charges of the cases.
Mashriqiwal added, security forces discovered and seized two vehicles along with 122 kilograms narcotic drugs and arrested 2 persons regarding the case in Sarkhroud and Dor Baba district of the province.
According to the source, counter-narcotic drug officials during searching cars discovered 134 kg drugs type of hashish and opium from two vehicles (Town Ace, Saricha) in Daronta region, Sarkhroud district of the province.
Five smugglers including two women, who wanted to smuggle the narcotic drugs arrested as well.
In the past two weeks 565 kilograms various types of narcotic drugs along with 15 vehicles discovered and 26 suspected people arrested accuses of the cases.
