Aibak (BNA) Six people lost their lives in heavy flood in Samangan province the night before last.
Also hundreds of houses and thousands of agricultural lands have been destroyed in the flood.
Azizullah governor of Roudoab district, Samangan province said BNA, five residents of the district including a child lost their lives in the flood.
He confirmed that tens of houses and hundreds of agricultural lands were destroyed and at least 150 Cattle were perished in the flash flood.
Likewise, Hafizullah governor of Khoram Sarbagh district, Samangan province said a woman lost her life and hundreds houses and agricultural lands and gardens were destroyed.
Flood affected people in Samangan province criticized government said so far they have received no assistance from foreign and local foundations.
Meanwhile, local officials of Samangan said assessment teams will dispatch soon to flood affected regions to provide assistance for flood affected people.
