Kabul (BNA) The Minister of Higher Education visiting Paktia province, inaugurated five projects in University of that province and laid foundation stone of four others.
According to Higher Education Ministry report to BNA Dr. Obaidullah Obaid Minister of Higher Education while inaugurating of the projects said since the start of 1391, nineteen projects were under construction in Paktia University, with the assistance of international friends.
Now we are witness the inauguration five of the projects including an IT center, Auditorium and library, library equipment , dormitory with all of it facilities at the cost of 748000 dollars.
He added the foundation stone of four other projects including buildings for Education University, medicine, hostel for male and a deep well at the cost of more than four million dollars.
The Minister of Higher Education in a meeting participated by elders, celebrities , teachers and students of that province, explaining the programs and achievements of Higher Education Ministry called attention to the development of Paktia University is among the priorities of that ministry.
Likewise, in this gathering the governor, members of lower house, upper house, head of provincial council and one of the local elders talked and appreciated the attention paid by Higher Education Ministry toward Paktia University and expressed their support from the programs of Higher Education Ministry.
