Minister Safi Urges Historical Monuments’ Preservation in Ghazni

Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Hasina Safi asked for serious attention of the related organs including the ministry’s related provincial agencies for the protection and preservation of the historical monuments in Ghazni province, BNA reported Sunday.
Acting provincial director of information and Culture in a meeting with the acting minister, shared information about his led administration achievements including unearthing of 200 transferable and nontransferable historical artifacts during the recent year’s excavation in the province, according to the agency.
According to him, the Islamic museum of historical artifacts has also been reactivated after seven years in the province.
He asked for paying serious attention to the completion of the reconstruction projects on the Abu Raihan Al-Biruni and Sharif Khan tomb, increase in the number of security guards of 012 unit for further security of the historical monuments as well as allocation of enough budget for the Sanayee Weekly, which has more than 60 years of background, the agency quoted.
The acting minister assured him of the ministry’s efforts to repair and restore the entire historical monuments in the province and emphasized for serious attention of the historical heritages and her led ministry’s efforts for removal of all cultural problems in the province.
