Group of 9 Taliban Militants Joined Peace Process

Kunduz City (BNA) A group of 9 Taliban militants renounced war were joined peace process along with their hand weapons in northern Kunduz province.
Gen. Abdul Hamid Hamidi police chief of Kunduz told BNA correspondent, the armed rebels with leadership of Abdul Bashir were joined peace process due to efforts of police personnel of Kunduz.
The joined insurgents already were involved in anti-government activities in Kunduz-Khan Abad highway, Hamidi added.
The armed oppositions have been submitted five Kalashnikovs, a rocket launcher, two pistols and a communication means to Afghans security forces.
