Water Supply Canal To Be Built Worth 4.3 Million Afghanis

Kabul (BNA) Aiming agriculture lands irrigating and providing drinking water a water canal to be constructed in eastern Paktia province.
The water canal will be built at the sum of 4.300,000 Afghanis funded by Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) in Ahmad Abad district of the province.
Abdul Wali Sahi deputy governor of Paktia said, with construction of the water canal 452 acres of lands to be irrigated in Kamran Khail and Khojer Khail areas of Ahmad Abad district and totally 123 families will be benefited from this program.
The water canal to be constructed within the next three months, Sahi added.
Already residents of Ahmad Abad districts complained to government regarding lack of drinking and irrigation water in the mentioned district.
