KANDAHAR CITY (BNA) As many as 10 armed oppositions were killed following air attack carried out by Afghan air forces in southern Kandahar province.
According to reports, the anti-government militias have been targeted, while they wanted to launch attack on Afghan security forces in Maiwand district, Kandahar province.
Atal army corps by releasing a statement said, 10 terrorists were killed following the air attack.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover and neutralize six round of different type of mines in crowded areas of Kandahar province.
By discovering the mines several deadly incidents have prevented in Kandahar.
Taliban fighters are responsible for the foiled mine planting, local officials said.
