Farah City (BNA) Up to 37 armed rebels were killed and 30 others were wounded during air strikes carried out by Afghan Air Forces (AAF) in western Farah province.
The air attacks targeted several hideouts of Taliban militants in limits of Nawbahar and Raj regions of the province.
A senior commander of Afghan national army in the province told BNA, several hideouts of the terrorist group had been destroyed following the air assaults.
According to another report, clashes ongoing between Afghan security forces and Taliban rebels in various parts of Bala Balok and Pusht Roaud districts of the province.
Meanwhile, military officials says reinforcement troops reached to the area and armed oppositions with giving heavy losses, now they are in escaping.
