Foreign Ministry Hails Regionl Countries for Their Support to Afghan Flood Victims


KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expresses gratitude for the solidarity of regional countries, the world with affected by the recent floods in the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on its X page, as a result of recent floods in Afghanistan, which resulted in hundreds of citizens martyred and thousands of homes destroyed, particularly affecting the residents of Baghlan province more than other regions, citizens suffered greatly, the Islamic Emirate, with all available resources, has begun serious actions and rapid efforts with the help and support of them.

This ministry adds, various countries in the region and the world, as well as international organizations, have also expressed their condolences and solidarity with the Afghan people. In this regard, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, India, Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Japan, Egypt, countries in South Africa, the United States of America, the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the European Union have expressed sympathy and shared sorrow for the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan appreciates the solidarity with Afghanistan and expresses gratitude to the representatives of these countries on behalf of the Afghan people, stating that human solidarity enables people to access problem-solving and assurance, considering it a common feeling of Islamic and human international solidarity.
