Kabul (BNA) Moscow session due to be held on September 4 by Russia aiming to discuss Afghan crisis suspended and Russia committed, the session to be held in other time with pivotal role of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes Russia aiming the Afghan crisis to be discussed planned to hold a session in Moscow city on September 4. In addition to Afghanistan five other countries including India, Pakistan, US and Taliban have been invited to participate in the session.
US arguing that Moscow session like previous sessions will not lead to any positive results on improvement of situation in Afghanistan denied attending the session. Islamic Republic of Afghanistan considering the participation of Taliban in the session meaningless declared that it would not in the session. Naturally, without the participation of the representative of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, any decisions by the session will not be acceptable for Afghan government.
While Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has previously welcomed the efforts of Russian Federation for resolving Afghan crisis and repeatedly insisted that overcoming the current problem needs regional and beyond regional consensus and any session without considering the will of Afghan people and absence of Afghan delegate would not be valid.
Russian authorities who designed and planned Moscow session in September 4, earlier also planned and organized similar sessions on Afghanistan problem, but this time, clearly observed that without participation of the representative of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan there would be no any hope for the success of Moscow session. The other countries that hosted the representatives of Taliban or met the delegates of the group in Qatar should know that the key party for solution of Afghan problem is its people and government who want and wish peace within the framework of any political peace negotiation to be restored with dignity not through dictated recommendations.
Afghan people insist that peace negotiations are inter – Afghan talks and the process should be led by Afghans, therefore anyone who honestly wants the solution of the problem should deeply consider that fact.
Afghan people and government welcome the initiatives of friendly countries that made for facilitating peace negotiations between Afghan parties but management and leadership of the process should be carried out by Afghans.
The new developments in Moscow efforts is another experience for armed oppositions, they have no way for the solution of the problem but to refer to Afghan people and inter- Afghan negotiations that guarantees peace restoration in the country, because Afghans know each other than the foreigners and can better plan for accessing peace and ensuring national interest. Because, this is the Afghans who feel the agonies and suffering of this nation than the others, while the foreigners in any peace process, pursuit and think about their own interests.
Therefore, it is the obligation of both Afghan government and armed oppositions to work together to end this war launched and led by aliens.
