KANDAHAR CITY (BNA) At least 5 anti-government militias were killed following Afghan security forces’ attack in southern Kandahar province this morning.
The insurgents targeted inside their hideout in relevant areas of Maiwand district of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, the terrorists were busy on organizing a series of destructive activities that targeted by Afghan security troops, in which 5 rebels were killed and six more were injured.
A hideout belonged to the militants have been destroyed along with all military equipment, the source added.
