Kabul (BNA) Eight armed Taliban were killed during clash with the personnel of Afghan National Army in the related areas of Faryab province.
The press office of National Defense Ministry told this news agency, the personnel of ANA conducted a mopping up operation in the last 24 hours under the name of Toloe Khorshed (sun rise) for cleaning the areas of Ghormach district from presence of armed insurgents in which eight armed Taliban killed, seven others injured and four of them have been arrested.
According to the source, the bodies of Taliban and their arms left in the spot.
