Youth House To Be Built In Takhar, Dr. Sadat

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Kamal Sadat, Acting Minister of Information and Culture and Deputy to Youth Affairs met with Takhar governor, Dr. Yasin Zai at his office the other day, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
According to the agency, in the meeting, the acting minister, Dr. Sadat said that the ‘Youth House’ would be soon built in the province. During the meeting, matters pertaining, cultural issues, protection of historical monuments and the situation of art and artists of Takhar province were also discussed, the agency added. The Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Dr. Sadat said that a delegation would soon be dispatched to Takhar to review the situation of art and artists and visit the historical sites of the province, the agency continued. He added that if the ministry is provided with land in Takhar, it will build the Youth House in the province, the agency stated. In his return, the Takhar governor promised to help the ministry in the respect. The Takhar governor also asked the acting minister of information and culture to visit the province’s historical sites, the agency concluded. According to another report, Dr. Sadat, the acting minister of information and culture met with son of Abdul Rashid, a prominent musician and assisted some amount of money to him to cure his father. Calling Abdul Rashid a well-known artist, Dr. Sadat said it was his ministry’s responsibility to sympathize with experienced artists and culturists of the country, the agency added. Dr. Sadat added that the ministry of information and culture has sent a letter to the president office to provide the ground for better treatment of Abdul Rashid in or abroad.
