Faizabad (BNA) as a result of NATO air attack on a convoy of Taliban in Badakhshan province, 13 militants were killed
At least 18 other insurgents were wounded in the air attack.
According to reports most of the insurgents who were killed and wounded in the air attack were Tajikistanis and Pakistanis.
Jaweed Saleem spokesman of army Special Forces in Badakhshan said BNA, the Taliban wanted to enter in Wardrooj district, targeted by NATO air forces in the Speengul area, Argao district.
He said the supply convoy of Taliban was completed damaged in the air attack.
The Wardoj operation was conducted by army and national police forces supported by NATO air force.
Since Badakhshan borders Pakistan therefore was the scene of terrorist activities in recent days.
