Taloqan (BNA) Taloqan mayor opened sapling-plantation program in provincial capital of Takhar yesterday.
Taloqan mayor Azizullah Maqsoudi told BNA that it was determined that nearly 10,000 saplings would be planted in six districts of Taloqan city, adding that provincial directorate of agriculture, irrigation and livestock would provide the municipality with other 4,000 saplings.
He said that the saplings would be planted within six days on University Road and all other areas of the city.
