Kabul (BNA) At least 77 insurgents including their local commander and nine ISIS fighters were killed and thirty-nine others including nine ISIS members were wounded during military operations led by Afghan security forces in different parts of the country.
Ministry of National Defense reported BNA, the operations were launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Maidan/Wardak, Kandahar, Urozgan, Badghis, Ghor, Heart, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces, as a result 116 anti-government militias were killed and injured.
Two persons were arrested accused of terrorist activities during the operations as well.
