Kabul (BNA) The incident took place in Jalrez district need be considered and discussed from the different viewpoints to discover the facts which were caused the bloody casualties of the local police.
At the same time certain serious queries are raised to be asked from the responsible officials in this respect.
At first why the responsible security officials did not act immediately to foil the insurgent’s mass offensive in Jalrez? Didn’t they know that the local police were fighting to defend their soil? If the answers are yes, then what was the reason that the local commanders and security officials did not send additional troops to protect the area? As it is realized the certain security officials have neglected in the connection. They did not know that the local policemen were serving the people and the national values and benefits of their country.
This is while that several times the local security personnel and the local and political leaders have requested the Defense and Interior ministries to urgently send additional troops to the area so that to help the local police and not to let the area fall into hands of the insurgents. Therefor the security organs should clearly answer the question that why they did not facilitate the local security personnel to fight hundreds of insurgents.
Jalrez incident faces uncertainties and the Police Chief of Maidan Wardak, Defense and Interior ministries should clarify the details to the people that why did they delay to reach to the area and to help the local policemen who were resisting against the insurgent terrorists in for 24 hours. The similar situation happened in Badakhshan province where the young people and the defenders of this country were martyred as a result of the lack of the coordination among the area’s security forces.
What is really important to know is the coordination of local people with insurgents, as it is said and the media reported, the local people facilitated and extended their supports to the insurgents so that to fight Security Forces. If it is legally confirmed, then it will be a very big disappointment to the government and the security forces who were there to defend the national values and rights of the citizens.
However the martyred security personnel were holding a particular identity and belonged to a specific geographical zone, but indeed they were fighting insurgents to protect the sovereignty of their country and to keep respect the dignity of the people of Afghanistan.
Therefore, the National Unity Government leaders should dispatch an authorized and the fact-finding delegation to investigate the Jalrez incident, removing the distrusts among the Jalrez local residents.
The reports indicates that the insecurity have already begun in Maidan Wardak and hundreds of the insurgents gathered to attack on Jalrez district so that to capture the check points and bring fears among the people.
Jalrez locates on the west of Kabul and is 60 Km away from the capital Kabul.
