Kabul (BNA) two local commanders of armed Taliban were arrested in Kandahar and Logar provinces today. The identity of these commanders had not clear, but they were arrested in two operations by Afghan and NATO forces from outskirts of Charkh district of Logar and Kandahar city. According to NATO press statement, these commanders were arrested while terrorist attack in these provinces. In this operation, numbers of Taliban with quantity of their arms have been arrested. According to another report, Mawlavi Sediq other local commander of Taliban was killed by NATO air attack in Logar province. According to NATO, Mawlavi Sediq was come under attack by NATO forces in his hideout in the outskirts of Charkh district. Mawlavi Sediq had committed several attacks of Taliban fighters in the vicinities of Charkh district.
