Aibak (BNA) Three irrigation canals have been constructed in Hazrat Sultan district, Samangan province.
The canals have been constructed in Hazrat Sultan district, Samangan province at the cost of more than 14 million Afghanis.
Ghulam Mohammad Daqiq irrigation head of Aibak center of Samangan province told BNA; the canals of Asiaabad village which located in Samangan River and Hazrat Sultan district was constructed according to the request of residents of the area.
According to him, the canals were previously damaged due to heavy floods and have been constructed with the assistance of Development Bank.
The projects resolved the problems of 2000 families from shortage of water in eight villages of Hazrat Sultan district of the province.
