12 Insurgents Killed In Some Provinces

Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours 12 insurgents Taliban were killed in some provinces of the country.
The national police, national army, national security directorate forces and collation forces carried out 9 mopping up operations in related areas of Kabul, Kandahar, Baghlan, Sar-i-Pul, Helmand, Zabul, Paktika and Farah provinces in which 12 armed Taliban were killed, 3 injured, and 28 others detained.
In these operations, 519 Kg opium, 92 Kg Cristal-narcotic and a large number of weaponries which included, 200 warheads, 3400 Kg chemical materials, 9 mines and a motorbike have been seized by police.
The national police forces discovered and neutralized four remote control mines which were planted by Taliban in related areas of Faryab and Midan-Wardak provinces.
According to another report, police of 101 Asmaye zone of Kabul arrested 11 persons on charges of criminal activities from related areas of 8th, 15th, 7th districts of Kabul and Estalif district.
The arrested men are under police custody.
