MAZAR-E-SHARIF CITY (BNA) Clashes continuing between fighters of irresponsible armed commander and Afghan police personnel in Mazar-e-Sharif city the provincial capital of Balkh province.
The conflicts has started late on Saturday, when Afghan security forces wanted to arrested Nezamuddin Qaisari former police chief of Qaisar district, Faryab province and an irresponsible armed commander in the north of the country.
According to reports, sound of heavy and light weapons heard in the area.
Eyewitnesses told BNA reporter, two Afghan security troops and five fighters of Qaisari were wounded during the clashes.
Afghan security forces are trying to prevent civilian casualties during arresting of commander Qaisari, so the operation took time.
