16 Taliban rebels killed

Kabul (BNA) 16 armed rebels were killed in mopping up operation by Afghan security forces.  Interior ministry press office said to BNA, 16 Taliban rebels had destructive and terrorist activities in  Faryab, Zabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Paktia and Helmand provinces , they were killed in mopping up operation of security forces and 24 other rebels were detained.  It is said these operations conducted in 24 last hours, 9 anti-vehicle mines, 708 light bullets, 16 heavy bullets, 25 different types of arms, a rocket launcher, 3 PK machine guns other military equipments and 5 motorbikes of enemies were seized by these forces.
