China Contributes Two Transportation Planes To ANSF

Kabul (BNA) The MoD authorities said that China wishes to contribute two transportation planes to ANSF.
Emphasizing on further equipping of ANSF with modern war-fares, the MoD authorities are expecting to receive heavy weapons from China and believe that under current circumstances heavy weapons specially air defense equipment’s are an urgent need. The MoD spokesman BG Dawlat Waziri said, beside other great countries, China can assist Afghanistan as a big military superpower. We are in urgent need of these two airplanes but we lack them at the moment. Waziri added, we have good relations with China as currently a number of ANSF are involved in training in China and we are in need of China assistance in detection and intelligence. In his recent meeting with Afghan security authorities especially the NSA the Chinese ambassador had said that his country is ready to help ANSF with heavy equipment in war on terror. During the meeting of SCO, China had called Afghanistan situation as concerning and the China authorities promised beside cooperation in peace talks process, they are ready to offer military assistance to ANSF together with other members of SCO.
Attiqullah Amarkhyl a military-political analyst said, China has so far offered many assistance to Afghanistan and its military contribution can produce positive results to ANSF. China chief of general staff during his visit with Afghan president said that his country is prepared to grant US $37m to ANSF, as training of ANSF was another Chinese pledges. Reza Rezayee a university lecturer believes foreign military assistance to ANSF will improve their combat capabilities as we are in dire need of air equipment. Our people are optimist on China good relations with Afghanistan and emphasize on its contribution. Taj Mohammad Akbar a citizen said, US and China are the biggest donors to developing countries and they can grant more assistance to Afghanistan. Fariha a graduate of Theology faculty of Salam university believes that Afghanistan should develop its political, economic and military relations with the regional and world countries and concentrate on confidence building. This issue can produce gradual sustainable stability and progress to Afghanistan.
