Kabul (BNA) More than 100 anti-government militias including several ISIS terrorist group were killed during joint military operations conducted by Afghan security forces within the last 36 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense by releasing a statement issued BNA, the military operations have launched by support of Afghan air forces to suppress armed oppositions, protect the lives and properties of people and ensure peace and security in insecure areas of Faryab, Baghlan, Zabul, Nangarhar, Paktia, Maidan/Wardak, Ghazni, Laghman and Helmand provinces.
Qari Noor Mohammad shadow judge of Taliban for Dehna Ghor district, Baghlan province and four members of ISIS terrorist group were among the dead, the statement added.
Over 15 insurgents were wounded, some heavy and light weapons, several vehicles and motorcycles have been destroyed during the military operations, the statement concluded.
