Lashkargah (BNA) Ten Taliban insurgents were killed in a mopping up operation by Afghan security forces in Helmand province today.
Lt. Mohammad Rasool Zazi press responsible of Maiwand 215 army crops said to BNA, this operation conducted for presence of Armed Taliban insurgents in Koshak Safeed, Sarfoladi, Byarak districts and Karezhai of Washeer district, in which 10 armed Taliban insurgents were killed.
In this operation the security forces had no causalities, said the source.
Meanwhile, in this operation a narcotic factory has been destroyed in Wahir district.
