Kabul (BNA) The athletes who have won medals were appreciated in Kabul yesterday.
In a ceremony held by National Committee of Olympic, the general director of the Olympic Committee Zahir Aghbar said that 200,000 U.S dollars had been approved for those athletes who have won medals from competitions held abroad over past two years.
He also said that the athletes had brought more than 600 medals including gold, silver and bronze medals to the country.
Aghbar also added that the National Olympic Committee would do its best to provide all facilities to those athletes who competes the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
